So I meant to write a little bit with those pictures I posted a few days ago, but life has been crazy. We drove down to AZ because Neil's Grandma Bryce passed away 3 weeks ago. I decided it is worth every penny to fly because the twins did not enjoy the trip. While there, Jackson, Haley and then Neil developed the stomach flu. I chaufered 3 sick kids home with all of them throwing up in the back seat...YUCK! Once the illness cleared up, we noticed Jackson still wasn't feeling better. Then his stomach swelled up HUGE and was rock hard. We took him to the doctor and he had developed something called an illeus where the bowel gets paralyzed and that whole peristalsis thing doesn't happen so nothing passes very well. We had to put him on clear liquids for 3-4 days (Haley had to be on it too. to get over her illness) The poor kids thought we were starving them to death, but Jackson has finally gotten better and we didn't have to take anymore drastic measures.
Anyways, some funny kid stories, a few weeks ago, I found jackson crying and his hand was stuck to a super glue tube. I realized he had chewed through the tube and his mouth and face was coated in super glue. After a major freak out and a quick call to poison control, I learned that it isn't toxic. So he just looked goofy for a few days while it slowly wore off. Oh yea, he accidently glued his lower lip to his chin when he sucked his thumb to comfort himself so he couldn't shut his mouth.
Haley is such a girl!!!! My mom gave her a purse and she loves it. She has it on all the time and walks around with her arm straight up in the air so it won't fall off. She is "talking" a ton, she constantly jabbers and has now said her first sentence "here ya go". The other day we heard Jackson screaming and went into the laundry room, he had climbed into our front loading washer and couldn't get out, he kept trying but his efforts kept spinning it like a hamster in a cage. Haley was so excited. She finally had her chance for revenge for all the times he teased her. She kept trying to shut the door on him. Guess thats one more room off limits to them.
Jackson is Neil's little clone. He is such a tease and takes great enjoyment out of hearing his sister scream. The other day He was supposed to be napping, I heard a noise and went into check. From the confines of his crib, He had quietly opened and emptied out 2 drawers of clothes all over, when he saw me, he dropped down, started sucking his thumb and pretended to be asleep... Where do they learn these things. Anyway, I could tell stories all day, but since I don't write often that would just get long and boring so I will stop here:)
